New Team Members Join The Blue Cabin
With the launching of the Blue Cabin Floating Artist Residency last month, the Blue Cabin Committee have also added to the team, welcoming two wonderful new members of staff.
In August, they welcomed Anthony Meza-Wilson as the Residency Coordinator. Anthony is an administrator, educator, and self-taught artist focused on informal, countercultural, and collaborative practice. He has worked in a variety of collective spaces and programs such as Gallery Gachet, The Purple Thistle Centre, and the Icarus Project. He received a B.A. in Integrative Mental Health from the University of California – Berkeley and an M.A. in Educational Studies from the University of British Columbia.
In September they welcomed Trish Klein as the Engagement Coordinator. Trish is a multi-disciplinary artist /manager/producer with over 20 years of experience in Vancouver’s arts industry. She is known as member of acclaimed folk trio The Be Good Tanyas (a project she co-founded in 1999), as well as through her company Hidden City, a boutique music and arts management company through which she has presented over 75 events in Vancouver including live music, film screenings, dance, comedy, and culinary events. Trish brings a lifelong passion for history and grassroots artistic culture to her work as Engagement Coordinator for the Blue Cabin Floating Artist Residency.
