HIRING FLEET GENERAL MANAGER
Other Sights is hiring a General Manager for FLEET Mobile Artists Studios, an innovative project that brings studios on wheels to areas of Metro Vancouver. The FLEET General Manager is a creative planner, implementer, and relationship builder who is responsible for developing this new initiative in conjunction with multiple and diverse communities across the Lower Mainland.

FLEET is a creative approach to complement the community’s ongoing efforts to build more studio opportunities for artists. Responding to the loss of arts and culture hubs across Vancouver, FLEET is a multi-year project that aspires to plan, design and, pilot a FLEET of moveable studios for working artists. The project will place these studios on a temporary basis throughout the city and manage their ongoing use.
The Project
This is a hands-on project that involves coordinating with the Other Sights’ Producer Team, the FLEET Working Group, Indigenous Advisory Group, and potential site and programming partners (municipalities, non-profits, Host Nations, community organizations, or and private developers) in order to develop, oversee, and implement the visioning, management, programming, and promotion of the two existing studios and the construction of up to two more.
